
The study explored individuals' willingness to adopt medication therapy for posttraumatic osteoarthritis (PTOA) prevention following ACL injury. Twenty-five participants, averaging 25 years old, reported concerns about treatment side effects, pill size, and dose frequency. Despite expressing interest in medication, treatment preferences varied, highlighting the importance of using qualitative methods to tailor preventive therapies to real-world patient needs and preferences.
