
A machine-learning analysis of 1,713 allogeneic stem cell transplants shows donor age alone has limited impact on survival, but becomes critical in context. Younger matched unrelated donors can outperform older matched relatives in elderly patients, while matched donors consistently outperform haploidentical donors, especially with increasing recipient age.
