Allograft and Calcium Phosphate Enhance Bone Defect Healing

A study on 55 patients with benign bone tumors found that using allograft bone combined with calcium phosphate bone powder significantly reduced healing time and improved postoperative function compared to allograft alone. While both methods achieved similar long-term outcomes, the combined approach led to faster recovery and higher quality-of-life scores at six months. This technique offers a promising strategy for optimizing bone defect repair.
