A study of 110 patients undergoing sinus floor augmentation found no significant increase in early implant failure (EIF) or postoperative bleeding associated with antiplatelet or anticoagulant medications. Key risk factors for EIF included tobacco smoking, lower residual alveolar ridge height, and staged implant placement. This suggests that while medications do not significantly impact these outcomes, other factors should be carefully managed during the procedure.
