
Artificial intelligence (AI) has made significant strides in healthcare, particularly in areas like histopathology assessment, diagnostic imaging interpretation, risk stratification, and personalized treatment recommendations. Numerous AI algorithms have been developed and tested for prostate cancer, aiming to automate clinical workflows, integrate data from different sources, and generate diagnostic and predictive biomarkers. While many studies are still in the pre-clinical stage or lack validation, recent years have seen the emergence of robust AI-based biomarkers validated on large patient cohorts, as well as the implementation of automated radiation therapy design. Moving forward, collaborative efforts across institutions and disciplines are crucial to effectively incorporate AI technology in clinical settings.
