
This study aimed to examine the impact of time to surgery (TTS) on survival in patients with sinonasal squamous cell carcinoma (SSCC). Using data from the National Cancer Database, 2,881 adult SSCC patients who underwent primary surgical treatment were included in the analysis. A multivariate analysis revealed a non-linear association between TTS and overall survival (OS), with the lowest risk occurring at 18 days and steadily increasing thereafter. The aggregate risk analysis identified 60 days as the optimal TTS cut-off, with surgery performed within this timeframe associated with a 14.6% decreased chance of death. These findings emphasize the importance of timely surgery in SSCC patients for optimal survival outcomes.
