A systematic review and meta-analysis examined seizure incidence among SARS-CoV-2 vaccine recipients versus placebo recipients. Six randomized clinical trials were analyzed, covering 63,521 vaccine and 54,919 placebo recipients. Results showed no significant difference in new-onset seizure incidence within 28 days post-injection or throughout the entire blinded-phase period (median over 43 days). The study found no association between COVID-19 vaccination and increased seizure risk. This suggests the vaccine's safety regarding seizures aligns with the placebo, providing reassurance amid concerns.
