The final analysis of IMvigor130, a phase 3 study, reveals that first-line atezolizumab plus platinum-based chemotherapy (group A) demonstrated significant progression-free survival benefit compared to placebo plus chemotherapy (group C) in urothelial cancer. However, overall survival did not significantly differ between group A and C. Atezolizumab monotherapy (group B) also showed no significant overall survival improvement compared to group C. Safety analysis indicated an acceptable profile for atezolizumab monotherapy. The study enrolled 1213 patients and concluded that atezolizumab monotherapy did not surpass platinum-based chemotherapy in overall survival.

An experimental triple antibiotic paste containing nitrofurantoin, ciprofloxacin, and metronidazole showed better cytocompatibility than conventional Hoshino antibiotic pastes and calcium hydroxide in human dental pulp stem cells. The paste maintained about 75% metabolic activity and better preserved cell viability, supporting further investigation as a medicament for regenerative endodontic procedures.

As a single-arm study, the findings are descriptive and require controlled confirmation.
