Atrial fibrillation (AF) management is challenging in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) patients. This multicenter study evaluated atrioventricular nodal (AVN) ablation in HCM patients with refractory AF. Out of 59 patients, AVN ablation effectively improved symptoms in 83.1%, irrespective of AF type, left ventricular impairment, or cardiac resynchronization therapy. Left ventricular ejection fraction remained stable during post-ablation follow-up. The findings suggest that AVN ablation is a promising and safe strategy for AF management in HCM.
