Systemic bevacizumab significantly reduces epistaxis severity and improves hemoglobin levels in patients with hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT). A meta-analysis of 10 studies involving 225 patients showed a reduction in epistaxis severity score (ΔESS: −3.33) and an increase in hemoglobin (ΔHb: 2.38 g/dL). RBC and iron transfusion requirements decreased, with hypertension as the most common side effect.
