The deadly Naegleria fowleri amoeba has claimed another life in Karachi. A resident of Bufferzone Karachi, who had been experiencing fever and headaches for three days, fell victim to the brain-eating amoeba. This marks the third reported death in Karachi's Central district in the past two weeks. In total, 11 people have lost their lives to Naegleria fowleri infection (NFI) across the province. Health officials are urging the public to take preventive measures, including avoiding poorly chlorinated pools and activities that may lead to water entering the nose.
