A study of 484 metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) patients found that cabazitaxel (CBZ) demonstrated similar efficacy and safety in those aged ≥80 years compared to younger patients, despite dose reductions. The incidence of severe neutropenia was comparable (31.5% vs. 27.5%). Risk factors included BMI <22 kg/m² and neutrophil count ≤5000/µL, highlighting the need for careful patient selection.
