The cohort study assessed the association between cerebroplacental ratio (CPR), Doppler indices, placental biomarkers (PlGF and sFlt-1/PlGF ratio), and placental abnormalities in SGA/FGR pregnancies. Results showed that lower CPR, abnormal Doppler readings, and abnormal placental biomarkers were strongly linked to placental maternal vascular malperfusion (MVM) and other placental abnormalities. These markers provide valuable insights for predicting complications in pregnancies with SGA/FGR fetuses.
