In a retrospective study of 663 patients across 25 Japanese centers, adding low-dose estramustine phosphate (EMP) to androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) improved 5-year biochemical recurrence-free survival (74.6% vs. 64.4%) in high-risk prostate cancer. The greatest benefit was observed in very high-risk patients, suggesting a potential new strategy before surgery in this population.
