The study aimed to summarize the current knowledge on the effectiveness of omalizumab, dupilumab, and mepolizumab in the treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps. The lack of guidelines in selecting the appropriate biologic for treatment is due to the heterogeneity of existing studies and the absence of head-to-head trials. A comprehensive search of English literature identified 37 relevant studies. All three agents showed significant improvement in various outcomes such as polyp size, symptom severity, and the need for surgery and systemic corticosteroids. Based on available systematic reviews and meta-analyses, dupilumab appeared to be the most beneficial. However, the evidence had limitations, and more robust conclusions require improved statistical methodology, head-to-head trials, and real-life studies.
