This study analyzed the clinicopathological characteristics, treatment, and outcomes of sialoblastoma, a rare malignant salivary gland tumor. The search included multiple databases, yielding 52 eligible studies with 62 patients. The parotid gland was the most affected site. Younger age, major salivary gland lesions, absence of metastases, encapsulated or congenital lesions, and no perineural invasion were associated with better disease-associated survival. Overall survival and disease-free survival at 5 years were estimated at 95.5% and 68.1%, respectively. Metastasis was identified as an independent prognostic factor. Sialoblastoma has a high recurrence rate despite a generally good prognosis.
