The study evaluated the diagnostic accuracy of combined vaginal and abdominal color Doppler ultrasonography for ovarian cyst torsion in 86 suspected cases. Vaginal ultrasound showed higher accuracy than abdominal alone, but combining both significantly improved sensitivity (84%) and specificity (72.2%), with the highest AUC (0.781). The findings support using both modalities together to enhance early diagnosis and improve treatment outcomes.
