This retrospective study compared the clinical efficacy and reproductive outcomes of two procedures, MyoSure and hysteroscopic electroresection, for treating benign intrauterine lesions in reproductive-age women. The study found that MyoSure had shorter operative times than electroresection for certain types of lesions, but the complete resection rate was lower in the MyoSure group. Additionally, the MyoSure group showed a significantly higher decrease in intrauterine adhesion scores and had higher pregnancy rates and shorter time to pregnancy compared to the electroresection group. However, there were no significant differences in live birth rate, premature birth rate, or abortion rate between the two groups. The study concludes that while MyoSure offers advantages in operative time and reproductive outcomes, it has limitations for type II myomas and requires careful evaluation before use.
