The study compares the impact of Dexmedetomidine, Midazolam, and Propofol on the survival of ICU patients with epilepsy. Data from the MIMIC-IV database revealed that Dexmedetomidine was associated with lower in-hospital mortality and higher survival times compared to Midazolam and Propofol. However, Dexmedetomidine did not show a significant survival advantage over the other sedatives.
