
The systematic review explored the diagnostic criteria and cutaneous manifestations of hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) in adults, categorizing skin findings into three groups: direct HLH manifestations, secondary complications, and underlying etiology. Despite study limitations, understanding these dermatologic conditions can aid in HLH diagnosis, highlighting the need for better differentiation between HLH and related conditions like DRESS syndrome.
