The article describes a study on the intratumoral heterogeneity (ITH) and immune status in gastric linitis-plastica (LP) using whole-exome sequencing (WES) and T-cell receptor (TCR) sequencing. The results showed that LP had an extremely high level of genomic and TCR ITH and suppressed T-cell infiltration, potentially contributing to the frequent recurrence and poor therapeutic response of this type of cancer. Immunohistochemistry further demonstrated its immune-cold microenvironment.
