However, a concerning trend has emerged in the past decade - breast cancer survivors, particularly those who received endocrine therapy, face an increased risk of Type 2 Diabetes. This review delves into the history of endocrine therapies, starting with tamoxifen's development, and highlights adverse metabolic effects such as dyslipidemia and impaired glucose tolerance.
