The analysis, which included eight studies, demonstrated that MRI had a sensitivity of 90% and specificity of 96%, with an impressive diagnostic odds ratio of 175.13. These findings suggest that MRI can serve as a reliable second-line diagnostic method, following ultrasound, for assessing uterine masses. The study's results pave the way for improved early diagnosis and management of uterine tumors.

Most recommendations remain conditional because evidence certainty is low or very low in several clinical areas.
