This study assesses the accuracy of manual and digital bracket positioning techniques using computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) jigs, 3D-printed indirect bonding trays (IBT), and double-layer vacuum-formed thermoplastic IBT. Dental arch scans of 30 orthodontic patients were analyzed, with bracket positioning digitally performed using the Insignia™ system and 3D Maestro® software. Results from 3D digital superimposition in Geomagic® Control X™ software indicated clinically acceptable positional discrepancies, with IBTs achieving precise bracket placement. Statistical analyses confirm reproducibility and comparable error rates across IBT types.
