The level of education has been recognized as a cardiovascular (CV) risk factor; nevertheless, it is often neglected in CV risk prediction. The objective of this study is to evaluate the psychobiological correlates of the level of education and if it could predict incident major adverse CV events (MACE) in men consulting for erectile dysfunction (ED). Based on the study findings in ED subjects, a lower level of education is associated with a more severely impaired erectile function with atherogenic pathogenesis and with a worse cardio‐metabolic profile. In addition, a lower level of education predicts forthcoming MACE. Therefore, education level should be considered as a costless but valuable information in the assessment of CV risk in patients with ED.

Among patients with CKD, DCB treatment resulted in a 2-year target lesion failure rate of 23.6%, compared with 30.0% with balloon angioplasty. The treatment effect was consistent across patients with and without CKD, suggesting that baseline renal function did not significantly influence DCB outcomes over 2 years.

Treatment-related infections and life-threatening adverse events were also less frequent, although neurotoxic events were more common with blinatumomab.

An interim analysis of a 10,799-patient European trial found that starting surveillance colonoscopy 5 years after removal of high-risk adenomas was noninferior to starting at 3 years.
