This study assessed the effects of different irrigating solutions on root cleaning and bond strength of cementation systems after glass fiber post cementation. The solutions tested were 5% boric acid + 1% citric acid, 1% peracetic acid + high concentration hydrogen peroxide, distilled water (DW), and 2.5% sodium hypochlorite + 17% EDTA (NaOCl + EDTA). The results showed that the solution containing 5% boric acid + 1% citric acid had the best cleaning efficacy and highest bond strength at both 24 hours and 6 months after cementation. This irrigation protocol also led to a higher prevalence of type 1 adhesive failure. Therefore, using the BA5% + CA1% solution provided improved cleaning and bonding outcomes.
