The study evaluated how abutment screw design and external loading angles influence loosening in dental implants. Abutment screws with varying tapers (30°, 60°, 90°, 180°) were tested for preload and initial loosening torque and subjected to dynamic loading at 15°, 30°, and 45° angles. Finite element analysis revealed that smaller-taper screws had superior resistance to loosening, while larger-taper screws exhibited higher preload. Increasing loading angles decreased loosening torque and increased stress and strain in screws.
