AFCL significantly improved scar scores in both atrophic (SCAR score from 6.50 to 4.92, p < 0.001) and hypertrophic (VSS score from 6.02 to 2.73, p < 0.001) scars. Early treatment (within 6 months) yielded superior results for atrophic scars, with a 35.38% improvement (p = 0.018).

A retrospective study of 33 women with postpartum hemorrhage during cesarean delivery found that uterine compression sutures achieved hemostasis in 69.7% of cases. PULMONOLOGY

A meta-analysis of five randomized controlled trials found that as-needed ICS–SABA significantly reduced asthma exacerbations compared with SABA-only reliever therapy. ICS–SABA lowered exacerbation rates and the risk of experiencing at least one exacerbation by 31%, while extending time to first exacerbation and reducing systemic corticosteroid exposure by about 39 mg, without increasing adverse events.
