The systematic review analyzed 48 studies involving 2186 vitiligo patients to assess regenerative medicine treatments like autologous melanocyte-keratinocyte transplantation, PRP, and hair follicle-derived cell transplantation. Over 50% repigmentation was achieved within 9 months with melanocyte-keratinocyte transplantation. PRP showed 58.7% repigmentation, especially with CO2 laser treatment. No serious adverse events were reported, though 21 studies noted pain as a side effect. Further clinical trials are needed to explore new treatments like stromal vascular fraction and exosomes.
