A systematic review and meta-analysis examined the impact of educational interventions on pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) for treating urinary incontinence (UI). Six studies involving 1003 participants were analyzed. Results showed that providing educational guidance on PFMT significantly reduced urinary symptoms compared to control groups. The use of mobile apps also proved effective in treating UI. Individual and group PFMT showed similar improvements in urinary symptoms. Overall, the study concludes that interventions combining PFMT instructions and health education lead to positive outcomes for women with UI.
