This study of 1065 twin pregnancies evaluated the accuracy of EFW and AC discordance in diagnosing birthweight discordance and sFGR. EFW discordance was more accurate than AC (−0.97% vs −6.43%, p<0.001) in estimating birthweight discordance. However, both measures had low diagnostic accuracy for diagnosing large birthweight discordance and sFGR, with sensitivity of 45.8%-54.4% for sFGR, and positive predictive value of 50.9%-55.2%.
