This retrospective cohort study aims to investigate the association between antimüllerian hormone (AMH) levels and the risk of preterm birth in patients undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) or ovulation induction. The study, conducted at a US academic fertility center between 2016 and 2020, includes live singleton births. Results show that elevated AMH levels are not associated with an increased risk of preterm birth in patients who conceived through IVF or ovulation induction, including those with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). The findings suggest that further studies are needed before the clinical application of AMH levels in predicting preterm birth risk in this population.
