The study evaluated the bioequivalence of a test preparation and a reference preparation containing eltrombopag, administered to healthy male Caucasian subjects during the COVID-19 pandemic while fasting. Each participant received one film-coated tablet (75 mg) of either preparation in a randomized order. Blood samples were collected at predetermined intervals to assess eltrombopag pharmacokinetics and analyzed using LC-MS/MS with ESI(−). The results indicated that the 90% confidence intervals of the ln-transformed area under the concentration-time curve (AUC(0−72), AUC(0−t)) and maximum plasma concentration (Cmax) met the bioequivalence criteria of 80.00–125.00%. Both preparations demonstrated a similar and satisfactory safety profile.
