In patients with de novo chest pain referred for possible coronary artery disease (CAD), the study investigates the value of polygenic risk scores and targeted proteomics in predicting the absence of CAD. Combining these with the PROMISE minimal risk score improved the ability to predict CAD absence. This approach offers enhanced risk stratification for chest pain patients, particularly those with low-intermediate CAD risk.
