Esketamine versus Sufentanil Applied Prior to Placement of Suspension Laryngoscope

The study aimed to compare the effectiveness of preemptive treatment with Esketamine and sufentanil in maintaining hemodynamics and reducing cardiovascular events during the insertion of a suspension laryngoscope in laryngeal microsurgery. The double-blind, randomized controlled trial found that Esketamine was more effective than sufentanil in reducing the incidence of cardiovascular adverse events, including bradycardia and hypotension. The study suggests that Esketamine could be a useful alternative for preemptive treatment during laryngeal microsurgery.
