
Estrogen-regulated GTF2H2 impacts HCC progression and sex disparity. HCC is more aggressive in men, with unknown molecular drivers. This study identifies GTF2H2, an estrogen pathway gene, as a tumor suppressor that enhances DNA repair, inhibits invasion, and downregulates the PAM/NF-κB pathway. Higher GTF2H2 expression in female HCC correlates with ERα signaling, highlighting its role in sex disparity and potential therapeutic relevance.
