The study examines differences between Black African-Caribbean (BAC) and White European (WE) men in postprandial fatty acid metabolism. Despite BAC having lower fasting triacylglycerol levels, they showed reduced postprandial TAG and VLDL-TAG concentrations compared to WE. The findings suggest that postprandial fatty acid trafficking may play a lesser role in cardiometabolic risk for BAC populations.
