The study compared the prognostic value of the eighth AJCC ypTNM staging system with lymph node ratio (LNR) and log odds of positive lymph nodes (LODDS) in 45 gastric cancer patients after neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Results showed that LNR and LODDS significantly impacted 5-year and 10-year disease-free survival (DFS), while ypN did not. LODDS provided more detailed prognostic information, making it a reliable survival stratification tool.
