A study addresses the challenge of identifying lymph node target volume in patients with node-negative sinonasal squamous cell carcinoma (SNSCC) crossing the midline. In a retrospective review, 64 received bilateral ENI and 40 received ipsilateral-only ENI. After a median follow-up time of 89.99 and 95.01 months, the regional relapse-free survival rates at 5 years were comparable between the two groups. The study suggests the potential to avoid contralateral ENI in SNSCC patients with midline crossing tumors, but further validation is needed through prospective studies.
