To describe the experience of utilizing fetal echocardiography to detect fetal cardiac anomalies prenatally in an Ethiopian setting. The prevalence of fetal cardiac anomalies in this study was 4.2 %. Fetal structural defects and maternal diabetes mellitus were the commonest indications for fetal echocardiography, which is consistent with findings of previous similar studies.
