The study reveals that frailty, assessed using the electronic frailty index (eFI), is linked to a more significant decline in the visual field in glaucoma patients. While frailty was not associated with baseline mean deviation (MD), increasing eFI levels were correlated with worsening MD over time in both eyes (p<0.05). Frailty was significantly associated with a greater decline in MD in both eyes (Right eye: Beta −0.89, p=0.035; Left eye: Beta −1.25, p=0.007). Baseline intraocular pressure (IOP) was not related to MD changes.
