This study evaluates the feasibility of creating fused three-dimensional (3D) models combining histopathology and preoperative MRI in oral squamous cell carcinoma. Using optical 3D scanning, imaging software, and modeling tools, nine tongue cancer specimens were reconstructed to visualize tumor orientation within resected tissue. The fused models enabled improved comparison of tumor dimensions between MRI and histopathology, enhanced understanding of margin location, and facilitated multidisciplinary discussion in head and neck cancer management.
