
The study analyzed obesity-related co-morbidities using US claims data from 2018 to 2020. Males with obesity were diagnosed with hypertension and dyslipidemia 6-8 years earlier than females. Females had higher odds for osteoarthritis, depression, and osteoporosis. Understanding these gender-specific variations can enhance early screening and management strategies for obesity-related conditions.
