This study examines the impact of geographic diversity on melanoma incidence and mortality across the U.S. using data from the SEER registry. Hierarchical clustering revealed six distinct geo-temporal trend groups for incidence and mortality, showing significant regional variations. Incidence rates increased overall, with Cluster 2 states experiencing the sharpest rise. In contrast, the overall mortality rate declined, with Cluster 1 states showing the smallest decrease. Mortality-to-incidence ratios also decreased, with Cluster 4 states having the lowest decline rate. These findings highlight regional melanoma trends, aiding public health agencies in resource allocation.
