The comprehensive review highlights the anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects of GLP-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1RA), commonly used for diabetes and obesity, on inflammatory skin diseases. Evidence suggests GLP-1RA can improve psoriasis and hidradenitis suppurativa by reducing systemic inflammation and directly modulating immune pathways. Clinical outcomes and immunological mechanisms involved in GLP-1RA therapy for skin disease are explored.
