A gluten-free diet (GFD) during pregnancy does not lead to adverse outcomes, with no significant difference in SGA or LGA incidence. Neonates in the GFD group had higher birth weights (3533g vs. 3440g). Pregnancy complications, including labor induction and duration, were more frequent in the GFD group, especially among those without celiac disease. However, cesarean rates were similar across groups, suggesting GFD is not harmful during pregnancy.
