
A randomized study comparing arthroscopic Bankart repair techniques found that the trans-glenoid grand knot method offers comparable functional outcomes and failure rates to double-loaded suture anchors. While the grand knot technique had a longer operative time, it presents a viable, cost-effective alternative for restoring shoulder stability in recurrent anterior glenohumeral dislocations.
