The study evaluated health utility values in individuals with obesity or type 2 diabetes who received semaglutide 2.4 mg versus placebo in STEP 1-4 trials. Health-related quality of life was assessed using the SF-36v2 and converted to SF-6Dv2 or EQ-5D-3L utility scores. Semaglutide 2.4 mg was associated with minor health utility score improvements compared to placebo, with significant treatment differences observed in STEP 1, 2, and 4. These results suggest that semaglutide 2.4 mg may improve health-related quality of life in individuals with obesity or type 2 diabetes.
