A study analyzing 98 male infants with anorectal malformations (ARMs) found that high-pressure distal colostogram (HPC) effectively identified rectourethral and rectoperineal fistulas. Results showed a strong correlation between HPC findings and surgical confirmation, emphasizing its role in precise diagnosis. Combining HPC with voiding cystourethrogram (VCUG) enhances diagnostic accuracy in ARM cases.
