The systematic review of four RCTs involving 7008 male participants assessed the efficacy of the quadrivalent HPV vaccine in preventing male genital-related diseases. Results showed that the vaccine significantly prevents genital warts and persistent HPV infections in HPV-naïve men, with a 91.8% efficacy in preventing HPV 6-, 11-, 16-, or 18-related external genital lesions over 10 years. Further studies are needed to confirm its long-term impact, especially in cancer prevention.
